Summer is right around the corner and that means it's time to get our booties beach ready.  No matter what your body type is or what shape you find yourself in, there are simple things you can do right now to feel more confident when you don that swimsuit.  First let me say, it's important to accept your body how it is right now even if you're not totally happy with it.  Don't spend all of your mental energy beating yourself up about your perceived imperfections.
No matter how much you weigh or what kind of shape you are in, acknowledge right now that your body is amazing.

Without even having to think about it your heart is pumping blood to the lungs where life-sustaining oxygen is being picked up to fuel everything you do.  No matter how "fluffy" you feel, your bones and muscles are strong enough to have carried you through yesterday, the day before and will do the same today and tomorrow.  Appreciate your body right now because it is going to be the tool you use to reach your goals and live life fully.  So don't waste anymore brainpower on self-defeating, negative thoughts.  Instead, decide now to dedicate your time and energy to taking at least one step this week to get your booty beach ready.

So my tip of the week is to eat at least one fruit or vegetable every time you eat; meals and snacks.  Getting your booty beach ready starts with healthy nutrition.  You have to eat properly so that you can get the most out of your workouts; not to mention it makes no sense to kick your butt with an awesome workout and then ruin it with a trip to Ben and Jerry's. The high water and fiber contents in fruits and vegetables help fill us up so that we can tame the cravings.  Because they are so low in calories you can eat as many as you want.  YES, I did just say you can eat as many as you want.  So get to the grocery store and go crazy in the produce aisle because this week you are going to eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and snack.  If you need a little help, check out the WOWbodyNOW Facebook page or Instagram (@WOWbodyNOW #getyourbootybeachready) where I'll be posting what I'm eating.
